Trend focus : Puffed sleeves.

When i was younger i was so fussy about my clothes, so much so that i almost didn’t go in on non uniform day one year because my mum deemed the outfit i put together “too cold” and tried to make me wear something long sleeved. Basically the day everyone looks forward to, i nearly skipped – you’d be wrong in thinking i was 14 when this happened .. i think i was around 7. Yes i was fussy, but there were two big rules when i was out shopping as a picky 8 year old: Jeans had to be bootcut (it was 2005, okay?) and absolutely NO puffed sleeves. Every single top in the years from 2003-2006 seemed to have a little puff at the top of the sleeve where the stitching meets the shoulder; i hated it with a passion, like it was my job to never let a puffed sleeve come within 50 feet of my 8 year old self. Now? Puffed sleeves with a square (ish) neckline are going to be the biggest trend of SS19 and i’m in love.

Want to get ahead of the game and jump on this trend now? I’ve found the best the high street has to offer so you don’t have to.

I wouldn’t wear any top that had puffed sleeves when I was younger too! Now I love the way they look! This white cropped one is so adorable!
