When the weather is good in Britain everyone flocks to their nearest coastline, me and my best friend did just that on the 30th August for a late birthday treat.
Brighton is like photo opportunity heaven so i wanted to create a heavily photographed roundup of our day beside the sea.
We spent the first half of the day walking around the pier and seafront, of course we visited the famous Boho Gelato and waited in line for some beautiful gelato ice cream. A lot of British seaside towns have lost their charm but Brighton is still going strong and actually getting better with integration from independent and chain businesses.
I love how seaside fun fair’s haven’t changed their aesthetic, a lot of Brighton still uses its original victorian architecture.
We spent the last part of the day exploring Brighton Lanes and the Royal Pavilion.
I think i’ve pretty much decided i would love to live in Brighton, its such a beautiful sea side town with such a wide range of independent shops, stalls and restaurants. I hope you liked seeing a few photos from my day beside the sea, if you’re thinking of visiting Brighton i’d definitely recommend taking a visit to Boho Gelato – don’t be put off by the line, its worth the wait!
I also visited Eden perfumes while in Brighton but i’m going to do a separate post on that so keep an eye out! – Maria x
