Looking for some travel inspiration? Look no further. For the last week i’ve been in Nerja, Spain and as i have done in the past with holidays i wanted to put all my pictures into a roundup post to illustrate my trip.
Nerja is one of the most beautiful places i’ve ever been; while still being just under three hours away on a plane from London the temperature and sights make it feel like a world away.
One of my favourite things about Nerja is its tiny cobbled streets; although there are literally hundreds of restaurants and shops the buildings haven’t been changed and the town is largely free of modern development.
I stayed right in the centre of the town square just to the left of the church in the Toboso aparta-turis, the location is perfect right in the centre of everything. In the evening the town square is filled with people listening to music and eating ice cream; its such an amazing atmosphere with little children dancing and skipping around while everyone watches performances.
Probably the biggest ‘tourist attraction’ in Nerja is the Balcon De Europa or the ‘Balcony Of Europe’, as the name suggests its literally a balcony which stretches over the cliffs and the sea like a balcony leading to the rest of Europe.
Every morning we’d walk down to breakfast on this beautiful path which leads down to the beach, for lunch we’d usually eat in Albi a cafe in the town square. Each night we’d eat at a different restaurant (theres around 150) my favourite was Scarletta’s, the food was beautiful and so was sitting up on the roof terrace.
And finally what really is a holiday without a sitting on a rock and bikini pictures.
I hope you enjoyed seeing my little visual diary of my holiday to Nerja, you can read my New York in pictures here.
