Christmas?? In July?? Thats exactly what the event was called. It seems crazy that we’re talking about Christmas already but July is the time when PR happens for the Christmas season; so i was invited to attend the not on the high street Christmas in July press event showcasing the products for 2016 Christmas.
The event was beautifully created, everything from the venue, how they had each product personalised to waiters with tiny little canapes on trays. I’m going to show you guys some of the photos i took from the event, including my outfit and the products i was most excited about.
This is the outfit i wore for the event and the details.
I wore a basic zara white t shirt with topshop mom jeans, lamoda boots and my longchamp tote. My coat is my favourite part of this outfit and its actually from Primark, it was amazing value for £18!
This section of one of the rooms was really the main event, they had a beautiful fireplace with a huge table each with a different style of place setting.
In the other room they had some wall dividers each with little shelves. Each shelve had some of the smaller products on, like skincare and cosmetics. On the other wall they had some christmassy jumpers and other clothing items.
And now for my favourite parts of the event, the stationery sections. I had two favourite stationery brands, only one of which i have the name of but everything will be available on notonthehighstreet.com from Sepetmber.
Above we’re my favourite stationery picks from the event, they’re created and personalised by two different companies Skandidesign and Emilie rose stationery. I especially loved what looks like a marble chopping board which i think would be great for flat lay backgrounds! Also pineapples are clearly going to be a huge late 2016/early 2017 trend, they were everywhere.
Finally, i also loved stationery and phone cases made by one of the students at the Chelsea school of Art. I can’t remember the brand name but i was obsessed with these notebooks and also the lovely little magnets. I was talking to the representative for the products about how i was finding it difficult to find really nice magnets online so these are something i’ll be looking into when they’re available in September.
I hope you guys enjoyed getting a look inside what will be on offer at Christmas on not on the high street as much as i did!
