Only a couple of weeks after i posted my updated skincare routine its changed again! A couple of months ago Liz Earle kindly sent me some of their muslin cloths and they quickly became a irreplaceable part of my skincare routine, so when my cleanser ran out i knew i wanted to give cleanse and polish a try.
I got the starter kit which comes with two muslin cloths, the 100ml cleanser and a little bag to put everything in, i think its worth paying the extra £1.50 to get the cloths as the 100ml cleanser is £14.00 so £15.50 is a reasonable price for everything together. Before i purchased this is knew it was a cult product with thousands of good reviews so i thought it would be more expensive than it was, and after using it i know its worth every penny.
My initial thoughts after using cleanse and polish was how clean my skin felt, before i was using a cleansing balm which did leave a little bit of a residue but this left my skin perfectly clean. It wasn’t until the morning that i realised how soft my skin felt, i couldn’t believe how after only two uses the difference i could see. Even people at work noticed a difference in my skin the next day and how my makeup had gone on much smoother.
I’m not using cleanse and polish to remove my makeup i’m using it as a second cleanse in the evening or as my morning cleanse. Using the cleanser with the cloth is what i think makes this so amazing, its so exfoliating that your skin is much smoother and brighter.
I knew before buying this that cleanse and polish had so many amazing reviews but i didn’t expect it to be this good, i can’t see myself changing this routine any time soon and i’m looking forward to trying more Liz Earle in the future. Liz Earle products are also cruelty free, leaping bunny approved so suitable for vegans!
