March has been a busy month for me in terms of blogging; the majority of it being taken up by my weekly travelling series, although those posts seem like they were written ages ago now. I tried to stop my self from buying this month, so my favourites have mainly been things i already own that i’ve been using more frequently or things that i had forgotten about and started loving again.
The main change in March for me has been to my skincare routine; like i said in my last favourites i had started using cloths and flannels to clean my face but in March this has become a staple part of my skincare routine. At the beginning of the month the lovely people at Liz Earle decided to send me some of their muslin cloths and ever since i have used them morning and night to take of my cleanser and I really feel a difference in my skin after using them because of their slight exfoliating feel.

Moving onto fragrance which has never featured on my blog before. This month i’ve been loving wearing Chanel Chance. I got this perfume for Christmas and initially didn’t love it but recently i’ve been enjoying wearing it and have received compliments on how nice i smell, which i think is the true test of a perfume. I’m not good with describing scents but what i will say is its not sweet and is no where near as strong as no 5 but does have a bit of a kick.
From makeup i’ve been loving three products this month, the first is a beautiful palette from makeup revolution, its a 32 pan palette for £8. Yes you heard that right 32 eye shadows for £8. I have several palettes from MUR but the flawless palette is the one i’ve been reaching most for this month. This is the palette as a whole, which comes with a full size mirror:
honestly these eyeshadows are incredible they’re not only beautiful and affordable they’re also amazing quality for the low price, highly pigmented and long lasting. This particular palette can give you so many looks from really natural mattes to dark shimmers. My favourite shades are the three shades in the centre below which i’ve swatched so you can see the pigmentation:
I’ve also been loving the seventeen high drama intense liquid eyeliner this month which i talked about in my previous post on drugstore eyeliners. Its a really affordable high quality eyeliner which came out on top against 7 other drugstore liners so its the one i’ve been reaching for the most in the mornings. Also from eyeliners featured in my liner post i have been loving the rimmel scandal eyes micro liner, i can’t get over how smooth its application is and how precise of an applicator it has.
Finally, and i don’t really know if i can call this a monthly fave because it only arrived this week but i wanted to add this to a post to tell you about a really great ebay find. I found this phone case on ebay for 99p with free postage and although it took over two weeks to arrive its incredible that such a pretty phone case only cost 99p. You can find it for sale on ebay here.
Thats it for my March faves, i want to take the opportunity now to say i won’t be sticking to my usual schedule in april as i’m going to New York on the 6th and won’t be back in London until the 14th and won’t be posting in that time. However after i get back there will be a lot of posts; in the mean time you can follow my social media where i will be posting during my trip:
See you in a while, Maria x
